Live music is the least forgiving thing to produce. The performance happens once, on its own clock, and the whole apparatus around it — cameras, sound, lighting, people — has to be invisible and completely ready at the same moment.
This one was for Light of the World, the 2D-animated film about Jesus told through the eyes of the Apostle John. We shot the music video for The Salvation Poem™ — the song at the center of it. One room, one take, everyone locked in together.
